Vita

Andreas König-Haagen studied mechanical engineering with a specialization in energy technology at the University of Applied Sciences Regensburg and environmental and bioengineering at the University of Bayreuth. In 2018, he completed his doctorate at the Chair of Technical Thermodynamics and Transport Processes at the University of Bayreuth in the field of thermal energy storage. He also headed the "Thermal Energy Storage" research group at the same chair from 2014 to 2020. From 2020 to 2022, he was a Walter Benjamin Fellow of the German Research Foundation at the University of the Basque Country in Bilbao. Since 2022, he has been working as a simulation engineer at Glen Dimplex Deutschland GmbH.
