Field of activity
Stephan Göbel deals with the evaluation of heat pump systems, from the refrigeration circuit to the system controller. The focus is on a realistic and thus dynamic consideration of heat pump operation. To this end, he couples complex building models with test bench technology using the hardware-in-the-loop method. This allows optimization potentials at different levels to be uncovered.
Vita
Stephan Göbel studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and Lund University and graduated in March 2019 with a specialization in renewable energy technologies. During his studies, he supported the Chair of Technical Thermodynamics in the field of sorption technology as a student assistant. After completing his master's thesis at the Chair of Building and Room Air Conditioning Technology, he started working as a research assistant in June 2019.
