Field of activity

Fabian Wüllhorst research focuses on methods to optimize and simplify system design using detailed, dynamic models of building energy systems. In his research projects, he develops, validates, and applies these models in the context of distributed model predictive control (AGENT), digital twins (Digitaler Zwilling), and comparison of advanced to rule-based control methods (PractiCon). Vita

Fabian Wüllhorst studied Mechanical Engineering with focus on Renewable Energy Engineering from October 2014 to October 2020 at RWTH Aachen University. During his studies, he completed internships in the innovation management at Viessmann Werke GmbH & Co. KG and at E.ON Inhouse Consulting GmbH. Furthermore, he supported the research at the Institute for Energy Efficient Buildings and Indoor Climate as a student assistant since 2016. After completing his studies, he started working there as a research associate.
